How to Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your BookMyCourt account using any of the following methods:
Option 1: In-App Deletion
- Open the BookMyCourt app
- Go to Profile (bottom navigation bar)
- Tap Account Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to support@bookmycourt.com with:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address or phone number
We will process your deletion request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once complete.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- Your favorite courts and saved preferences
- Your search history and location preferences
- Push notification tokens and device registrations
What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or business continuity purposes:
- Booking Records: Historical booking transactions may be retained for up to 3 years for legal and accounting compliance.
- Payment Records: Financial transaction records may be retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
- Reviews & Ratings: Reviews you submitted will be anonymized but may remain visible to help other users.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Any upcoming bookings at the time of deletion will be automatically cancelled.
- Refund eligibility for cancelled bookings follows our standard cancellation policy.
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account — you must follow the steps above.
